More Fashion Illustrations

Some of the seatwork I was able to scan for my Color Theory and Fashion Illustration classes..

Water colours, pentel pens, gel pens, water colour pencils, gouache, pencils, ink, Copic markers. It’s so fun working with the markers. If used on the proper paper, you get wonderful results. It took a while for me to find some here. Right now the only place I know to get it from is Fully Booked at High Street. The supply is dwindling though and they look a bit dirty.. I can only wonder what happened to them. They don’t have ink for refills yet and you have to order them if you want some the last time I checked. There are Kure markers at the Glorietta national Bookstore but I’m not really sure how those are. Much cheaper than Copic though. Works best on super smooth paper. The smoothest I could find is the Corona bond. Works ok on tracing paper but I don’t recommend layering the colours. It blends horribly on thick drawing paper (oslo) not to mention is absorbs too much ink.

These are for color theory: outfits in achromatic, double complementary, monochromatic schemes.

Details are ♥.

The red and purple pattern I copied from a Jordi Labanda pen I have..

And these are the most recent from fashion illustration: exercises for illustrating hands, feet, proportions. The final one is a full-figure drawn using the proper proportions and techniques we’ve been taught so far. Big improvement, no? I thought I could draw. There was still so much I learned. My illustrations are more detailed now. There are a load of flat clothing drawings that are really too many and too boring to put up here. Lol.

P.S.
I made a boo-boo with my school’s link in my other post. I just corrected it and here it is again: Clickie!
