Our draping teacher, Sir Danilo Franco’s indigenous gown worn at the 29th Flores de Mayo at the Plaza Rajah Sulayman. Some twenty members of the Quezon Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines initiated for the first time in Manila a display and parade of their sagalas and escorts in indigenous gowns, Barong Tagalog and other native outfits.

    I’ve always been an aficionado of drapings. That’s why I’ve always loved the gowns made by maggie sottero…Your works reminded me of Romy of Project Runway…really! I believe drapings make women look so elegant…
