Krua Thai
A pretty uneventful day.. Started off with me trying to submit my finished wire sculpture which I forgot to take a picture of *kicks self*. In all honesty, I love it. I think it’s awesome. I made a really nice to-scale tulle tutu for it, i sewed it myself and used cream silk ribbons and cream stiff tulle.. I mounted it on a marble base carved to look like a slab of cross-cut wood.. which is pretty heavy. It’s got a title now: “Arabesque en Pointe.” That’s what the ballerina’s pose is called.. which I used to be able to do.. I did ballet for 8 years FYI. I’m not as flexible as I used to be although I can still do splits.. lol.
Anyway, as I said, I was trying to pass it to her, Ms. Tabo Tabo, because yesterday, when she was supposed to meet us in class, I had waited for 45 minutes and she was nowhere to be found. So I left. And I told her that this morning and so she let me hand it in. Which was the right thing.
Had lunch out with Lawi at Krua Thai, this yummy Thai resto at the BTC here.. God I missed Thai Iced Tea.. It’s so so yummy. I’m gna buy myself a thermos thing and go to Krua Thai to buy their iced tea and have them put it in my thermos so I can sip at it anytime I want. Lol.. Anyway, she didn’t wna have her pichutre taken so I took pictures of the place instead.. and of the food. lol

From L-R: Calamares; ceiling covered with upside-down parasols; Lawi’s stir fried veggie with crispy pork thing; my YUMMY Thai Iced Tea, garlic fried rice; and other window decors.
That veggie thing had surprises in it.. ba dsurprises.. I was chewing on a leaf and this sudden sensation of hotness and burning exploded in my mouth. And it’s was so evenly spread, I thought it was the whole leaf that was spicy.. SO I was like, allright I just wont eat the leaves then and didn’t say anything. Then it happened to Lawi- she bit into a larger chili haha.. (in picture) Then we found little bits of chili in disguise.. Lol. And the menu didnt say it was gna be hot/spicy. It has markers, you see, to indicate which dishes were spicy.. This one didn’t have a marker, but it was extremely HOT anyway. I’m not much of a hot/scpicy person so it was a bummer.

It’s this photography technique. You should never center an object in the picture/frame. ü
