Prodigal Watch
I misplace a lot of things. Not that I’m proud of it, it just always happens. And of all the things I lost, there are some that I just cannot forget.
I’ve been missing this wristwatch for around two years and have accepted (although reluctantly) that it’s forever gone; either left somewhere, got lost in all the moving around/traveling that I did or stolen. Which is a shame, really. I got it from a Swatch store in Via Condotti, Rome and I don’t think I’ve seen the same watch anywhere else. I’m all about individuality and the watch is quirky and fun. It was sorely missed.
Then I saw it this afternoon on top of my purple bookcase. XD My brother found it inside his violin case. That he hasn’t even opened it to air out his violin for more than two years or even how my watch got there is beside the point- the prodigal watch is back! =)
It has a long strap that winds around the wrist twice. It can be worn many ways but those two photos shows how I wear it most often. I just have to have the battery changed and maybe have the watch cleaned/polished or whatever it is they do it watches and it’ll be good as new again.
