You Have GOT To Be Kidding Me

There’s this Multiply account of which main page greets me with MY OWN WORDS. I mean wtf. Not another one.. =s There is four of them who shares the site. Don’t they have enough brain cells combined to think of their own words? I mean seriously, they view my multiply account and have seen my rant about being plagiarised (the other incident) and they think this lil deed of theirs would go by unnoticed? If they really think so then I do understand why they must share one account: Must be way too taxing for them to manage an account all by themselves.

You girls must be feeling pretty damn smart to have those plastered on your web. But using paragraphs taken from my blog entries only show how completely lacking in class and manners you all are. You go against every word that you copied from me, the original of which is: “When trash sells, I stand for class. Vulgar is never the new demure. Far from being old-fashioned or uppity, I belong to the world. I’ve been where most only dream of. It will take so much more to break me. I am a third culture kid. I love. I am Crisel” (Go ahead, Google the entire paragraph- my name comes up.)

Changing a few words to “accomodate” the four of you does not make my words applicable to any of you. First of all what you do is pretty trashy. Copying even my replies to the emails I have personally received is not classy. So no, none of you are fooling anyone when you say you stand for class. And do any of you little girls even know what a third culture kid is? I rest my case.

I dont get it. I mean, have people stopped thinking altogether while I was sleeping or something? When did it start becoming “cool” to be considered and actually BE copycats? So much for originality and sincerity.

To “Ishi”, “Bianca”, “Krissy” and “Khazel”: “If I could have just one wish, I would wish weirdos like you stop existing or at least stop stealing from me.” You’re all bloody uncool.

Impersonator? Plagiarism? Nutcase? Or All of the Above? Freaky!!

Would you take a friend’s diary, rip off pages from it and paste it to your own diary? Because someone’s been taking my journal entries, inserting different words or sometimes nothing at all, posting them on her own journal and passing them off as her own experiences. What is up with that? I can understand and have encountered people taking my art and posting them somewhere else but blog entries? It’s mental.

I was looking at the links that lead people to this website (www.crichi.com) and I stumbled on this certain Multiply page. I looked around but it didn’t have any links to my website. One blog entry caught my eye, though, because its title is the same as my tagline: Selling Dreams. I opened it and saw this:

But I was thinking that almost anyone can get that excerpt anyway so I was going to leave the page and let it be but the link beneath that post caught my eye again. It’s entitled, “and away she flies” and it sort of reminded me of a post I made a few months ago entitled the same thing. I clicked it and saw this:

The decors are coming out now.. I have to admit I was becoming a tad too worried to function when I still couldn’t see the majority of places putting up Christmas stuff. You have to know that Christmas comes earlier here in the Philippines in comparison to other countries. I remember the decorations and the songs used to come out as early as October, if not earlier. So it really is alarming to see malls and other establishments lacking in those. I mean, where’s the Christmas spirit this year? Running late?

By now you realise that Karen (her multiply screen name is Karen so I’ll call her Karen) does not follow the chronological order of my entries, rather, she posts my entries whenever she wants to. Off for a 3 days vacation here in Cebu.

I bought some stuffs from Beauty Bar and passed by the only decent bookstore here in Cebu National freaking Bookstore. I bought the second Gossip Girl instead of the third book from The Wheel of Time, which by the way is an incredibly incredibly good series. It’s better than LOTR, Harry Potter and David Eddings books combined. Yes combined. It’s just incredible. Robert Jordan’s characters and settings are so alive, unique and believable. My elser sister has actually all the books so I shouldn’t buy it but she’s in Canada so how can I read the third book. Anyway, it wasn’t available anymore. Out Of Stock. Probably one of the most horrible 3-word phrases ever. I just had to settle with this no-brainer book for now. Lol.

The moon is so big and round. I couldn’t take a decent picture of it. None of the images do it justice. I’ve a headache.

And I don’t understand this. It’s not just plagiarism.. She is pretending that these things are also happening to her. To post about flying the same flight, buying the same book, and worrying about the same things as I did, using my words is very very strange. She isn’t really “impersonating” me, she’s still her and not pretending to me but she acts like she owns those posts that she just copied off my journal. What is up with that?
