The Gist of It
25th October, Wednesday last week.

Went to Tita Malou’s with mom to return this architecture book. It was sad to see those trees that were uprooted. I missed the lush foliage that’s usually there when we go to Sta. Elena. Take note: Acacia trees are NOT very good survivors of storms, palm trees are. The african tulips were missing their red blossoms, too, save for a scant sprinkling of leaves. Well, at least they seem to be recuperating nicely.
Anyway, our lot at the Sierra Madre part of Sta. Elena looks better now than when I last saw it. All it needs now are the sidewalks, I think.. or some more. “Rockwell Land Corporation (Rockwell) recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Sta. Elena Properties, Inc. to develop the prime land within the prestigious 260-hectare Sta. Elena golf course community” so we hope to see some speedy developments soon.

After that, we ate at Cafe Breton.. a brunch of burgers, crepes and coffee.
29th October, Saturday.

I’ll never forget this day becs it was the day I introduced hun to my parents. Lol. It went very well. They asked him a lot of questions, which he took quite well. And Dad only embarassed me once. Chizzle brought home blueberry cheesecake, house wine and… my present! weee.. I so love it hun! Thank you again so much. The wrapping was all extremely pink and shiny with pink and purple bows. Lol. Why I ever asked if he did the wrapping, I don’t know. Obviously he didn’t Lol. Then we went to Town afterwards and watched The Prestige.
The Cream Halloween Ball was that same night and I went. Fun.

29th October, Sunday.

Rode another plane to come back so I can enrol myself the next day. I really thought my flight was at 5:30. Left the house at around 3:15 and then saw to my horror that my flight’s actually at 4:40. So we rushed to the airport. I got to the check-in counter at around 4:30, fearing it’s already closed.. where the lady behind the desk lectured me about being early *eep* while she opened it (yes it was already closed) and assigned me a window seat. paid the terminal fee and fast-walked to the gate and got there right when they started boarding. So yes I made it.
The sun was just beginning to set and there were really nice sights outside, I was extremely tempted to turn on my phone and take pictures. ugh. What happens when you turn on a phone inside a plane, anyway? Do we really crash? Because I find that realy hard to believe. If it’s so dangerous, they’s nt let us take phones in the plane. I mean, if they don’t let liquids in, they shouldn’t let phones in, right? Of course I don’t want that happening.. Lol. But, what’s the deal?
So yesterday I went and signed up for classes. Fresh start. God-willing, I’ll do even better this semester. Then I’ll transfer to LaSalle Benilde and study fashion after this sem. I can’t wait.
